The Buddhist Monk Ordination Program was first organized in 2005. The training was initiated by Luang Por Dhammajayo, The president of Dhammakaya Foundation ( A UN’s NGO and member of The World Fellowship of Buddhist ), with the objective of promoting ethics and morality among youths, in addition to their academic education. On July 19, 2015, 24 Branches of Wat Phra Dhammakaya in Europe organized a mass ordination for European Dhammadayada for the third time. Hence, each of the European Branches invited the locals to participate in this program in which there were 35 ordinands from 7 countries and 12 citizenships.
In the beginning, there were only extensive fields under the hot sun with no trees or buildings. And at night, there was only the star-filled sky.
